Ho-Chunk Nation Child and Family Services Mission
The mission of the Ho-Chunk Nation Child and Family Services
Division is to establish safety and focus on the well-being of
families and children who are eligible for prevention, at-risk, and
To engage the family in defining skills and services they need
to strengthen and stabilize their family according to Ho-Chunk
tradition and customs.
To address the effects of intergenerational trauma and create
opportunities for change within the redefined family system.
Services provided: Initial Response
Team and Intake, Tribal Child Protection
Services, Child Welfare Prevention Program, Indian Child
Welfare Program, Disabled and Elder Program, Independent Living
Skills, Clan Mothers, Resource Center, Quality Assurance and
Placement Parent Program.
Eligibility: Must be enrolled or
eligible for enrollment with the Ho-Chunk Nation.
