Division of Veterans Affairs
The Hoocąk Nation Division of Veterans Affairs (DVA) plays a
critical role in the veteran advocate system and is the initial
contact in the Hoocąk Nation for veteran services. The DVA is
committed to provide a vital and efficient system of services and
advocacy to veterans, their dependents, and survivors.
The DVA recognizes the importance and merit that this office holds
and is committed to fostering a mutually beneficial relationships
with all branches of the service, veteran service organizations,
county & tribal veteran service officers, key leaders, VA
officials, and all Hoocąk Nation departments for the common good of
all veterans. It is the intent of the DVA to work in a non-partisan
manner to ensure that every Hoocąk veteran receives the benefits
and services to which he/she is entitled to by law and moral
obligation in recognition of their sacrifice and service.
