The Departments of Natural Resources and Heritage Preservation are collaborating with Kickapoo Valley to host two sessions on Ho-Chunk Nation history at the Kickapoo Valley Reserve 2020 Winter Festival. Here we’ll see Ho-Chunk Nation speakers from the Departments of Natural Resources and Heritage Preservation.
The Ho-Chunk Nation and the state of Wisconsin are co-managers to the historic and beautiful Kickapoo Valley Reserve. The reserve takes up over 8,500 acres, 1,200 of which are held in Trust for the Ho-Chunk Nation.
