Because of the impending weather conditions, including freezing rain and snow, all Ho-Chunk Nation non-enterprise facilities will close today at 12:30 p.m.
Employees will have the option of using Personal Time Off (PTO), leave without pay, or working remotely with their supervisor’s permission.
The ERA states:
27. Administrative Leave. Administrative leave status or normal work curtailment may be granted to employees by the Office of the President, Vice President, or Chief Justice or Chief Judge. Administrative Leave includes but is not limited to: inclement weather conditions, hazardous working conditions, voting purposes, blood drives and other exceptional circumstances, including declaration of a state of emergency. Administrative Leave is considered unpaid leave. Employees shall be allowed to use PTO to receive pay in these situations. The Legislature may authorize paid Administrative Leave when approved by Resolution.
