Permanently laid-off employees encouraged to retrieve personal items

Recently Ho-Chunk officials had to regretfully make the difficult decision to move employees from a temporary layoff status to a status of permanent layoff.
Because of those directives, employees who will be permanently laid off will need to remove their items from their work stations.
Those people can retrieve those items from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday from now until Thursday, July 9, 2020.
When retrieving personal items, they must report to the front desk at each workplace, wear a mask, and have their temperature taken.
All permanent laid-off employees will be accompanied by an employee from their department or security personnel. Schedule time to pick up items with supervision of the department should take place prior to picking up items. Following the retrieval of items, the former employee will be accompanied to the exit doors of the building.
No items will be able to be retrieved after Thursday, July 9, 2020.
